The colour inspiration and Alma Vest pattern was designed by Susanna Kaartinen from Sánná & Co.  The yarn was dyed by Bombed Yarns in their Dynamite 4ply/fingering 100% superwash Merino.

This pattern is named after Susanna's niece, Alma.  She designed this colour-work motif and vest for her.  It features a Scandinavian style colourwork pattern along the hem. The pattern is based on a motif from Susanna's grandmother's home town of Rovaniemi, in Finland, creating a meaningful connection to their roots.

There are three sets specifically designed by Susanna to perfectly work for her Alma Vest pattern.  Each set is attached with a picture to make it easy for you to order your favourite set!

This ia a pre-order for your kit. When we receive your order, it will be dyed and freighted with in two weeks.

  • It is best to hand wash gently in luke warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash.  The merino has been treated so it can be cleaned in a washing machine.  Put your item into a delicate wash bag, use the wool wash setting and a gentle wool detergent. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.

Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat. If you wish to iron your item, have it on the medium setting.
