Susanna Kaartinen from Sánná & Co has once again produced another amazing pattern and I am delighted she has choosen to knit it with Bombed Yarns 4ply Dynamite Marmalade and a new colour Grandpa's Sock Tan.
This is the exact same colour and yarn Susanna Kaartinen has used for her top (sleeveless version) she is modeling. The yarn was dyed in our Dynamite 4ply/fingering 100% superwash Merino.
The indie version of this pattern includes a top version with optional bust darts. It is part of The Bendigo Project 2025. The theme for The Bendigo Project in 2025 is stripes. The Bendigo Project Knitalong commenced Sunday 16th March and will conclude with a meet up at The Australian Sheep and Wool Show, in Bendigo, Saturday July 19th 2025.
This sweater plays with stripes and their directionality. “Sunde” is the Inari Saami word for direction. The all-over striped pullover is knitted flat, sideways from the centre out: first the back panels and then the fronts. The sleeves are picked up around the armscyes and shaped with short rows. The ribbed V-neck, hem and cuffs are worked in the round and edged in a contrasting colour.
In the photos is a very detailed Sunde yardages for both the top and Pullover.
This is a PRE ORDER and will be dyed in line with the existing dye schedule.

Sunde Top & Pullover Kits
It is best to hand wash gently in luke warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash. The merino has been treated so it can be cleaned in a washing machine. Put your item into a delicate wash bag, use the wool wash setting and a gentle wool detergent. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.
Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat. If you wish to iron your item, have it on the medium setting.
I have done my very best to represent the colours of the yarn. They may vary depending on both our screen monitor calibrations.
