This colourway was inspired from a picture I saw ages ago. I screen shot it and just let it sit there for MANY months. Then one day, I decided I just had to do it. Stop procrastinating. The #nameingyarnteam came up with a daring name for it which I tamed to ‘The Geisha’. It certainly has a Geisha feel about it. This base has nylon in it, giving it extra durability making it ideal for socks, which have high wear and tear.
4ply Fingering Weight
75% Super Wash Merino 25% Nylon
It is best to hand wash gently in warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash. The merino has been treated so it can be cleaned in a washing machine. Put your item into a delicate wash bag, use the wool wash setting and a gentle wool detergent. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.
Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat. If you wish to iron your item, have it on the medium setting.
The images are representations of this colourway. Expect slight variations between each skein because it is hand dyed. If you are working on a large project, it is suggested you knit with two skeins at a time.
I have done my very best to replicate the colours in the photos. There may be colour variation due to computer screen resolutions.
